About Dr. Bryan L. Kline

Dr. Kline previously served in the elected capacity of Westmoreland County Clerk of Courts, and in the position of Warden at the Westmoreland County Prison. Dr. Kline is now putting his research expertise to practice as the Director of Reentry Services in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2009, he was the first person elected to a county row office in over 50 years to represent his political party. Dr. Kline resides in Penn Township with his wife and son. Dr. Kline is a criminologist, which involves the study of crime and criminals and is considered a subject matter expert in the field. Dr. Kline earned a Doctorate in Criminal Justice, with a specialization in Homeland Security. He possesses a Master of Science Degree in Law and Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. 

Dr. Kline is the founder and CEO of Gray Line Solutions, which is a consulting and training firm that assists with solutions and education on criminal justice topics that include but are not limited to court collections, corrections, reentry, reintegration, and specialized criminal justice training. Dr. Kline's expertise has been called upon to testify in front of the Pennsylvania House Judiciary Committee regarding criminal justice issues. 

After years of serving as a prison warden, Dr. Kline became acutely aware of the critical need for enhanced mental health care within correctional facilities. Witnessing firsthand the struggles of inmates grappling with mental health issues, he recognized that effective rehabilitation could not occur without addressing their psychological well-being. This realization sparked a passion in him to drive change, leading to the founding of GreyLine Medical Management Group alongside three dedicated partners. Together, they aim to revolutionize mental health services in prisons, ensuring that inmates receive the comprehensive care they need to heal and reintegrate into society as productive citizens. The mission is not only to improve individual lives but also to foster a safer and more humane correctional environment. 

Upon graduation with his undergrad degree, Dr. Kline worked in the private sector.  He then went on to work with the homeless population, followed by working with youth who were institutionalized. Next, he worked as a case manager in the mental health field. In addition, Dr. Kline has taught court-ordered Alcohol Highway Safety School courses. He is an Assistant Professor and Adjunct Professor and teaches criminal justice and psychology courses. Dr. Kline is also contracted to teach Federal Appropriations Law and refresher courses to federal government employees at various governmental agencies.
